List of supported hardware
epicEFI supports a wide range of available hardware to purchase from different vendors. Below is a listing of the supported hardware.
epicECU
This is the ECU that we manufacture and sell. It supports a large amount of inputs and outputs as well as dual Drive by Wire and dual Knock Control.

This ECU supports:
- 12 cylinder sequential injection and ignition
- 22 auxiliary inputs
- 24 auxiliary outputs
- 8 k-type thermocouple inputs
- Dual knock channels
- Dual drive by wire
- CAN-bus
- FlexFuel
Internal name: epicEFI
For more details, including pinouts see epicECU.
rusEFI
Below are the boards manfucatured and sold by rusEFI .
uaEFI - Ultra Affordable
This is a ECU designed and sold by rusEFI. This ECU is designed as the low budget option while still retaining a good feature set.

Some of the supported features are:
- 6 cylinder sequentual injection and ignition
- Onboard Wideband Controller
- Onboard SD card
- Dual knock channels
- Dual drive by wire
There are two versions of the ultra affordable, dictated by the microcontroller.
- uaEFI - The variant powered by the STM32 F4
- uaEFI Pro - The variant powered by the STM32 F7
These two can be distinguished by the writing on the main microcontroller.
There are a few internal names based on the microcontroller and table size:
- uaefi - The basic uaEFI powered by the STM32 F4
- uaefi_pro - uaEFI powered by the STM32 F7
- uaefiBIGFUEL - The same as uaefi but with 32x32 fuel and 24x24 ignition tables
- uaefi_pro_bigfuel - Same as uaefi_pro but with 32x32 fuel and 24x24 ignition table
For more details, including pinouts, schematics and gerber files see uaEFI.
uaEFI Honda OBD1
This is the same controller as uaEFI - Ultra Affordable sold by rusEFI but featuring a Honda OBD1 connector and footprint for fitting into OEM Honda ECUs.

Some of the notable features:
- Reads the OEM distributor (single tooth and 24 tooth)
- Onboard Wideband Controller exposed as external connector
- Option to convert to Coil on Plug
- Option to convert to Hall Sensors
Internal name: uaefi-obd1
For more details, including pinouts, schematics and gerber files see uaEFI Honda OBD1.
uaEFI 121 Pin
This is the same controller as uaEFI - Ultra Affordable sold by rusEFI but featuring a 121 Pin connector and metal case.

Some of the notable features are:
- 8 cylinder injection and ignition
- Smart coils by default, expandable with on-board IGBT
- Dual onboard Wideband Controller
- Dual drive by wire
- 9 auxiliary inputs
- 6 Low Side Drivers
- 2 High Side Outputs
Internal name: uaefi121
For more details, including pinouts see uaEFI 121 Pin.
| This ECU is NOT pin compatible with VW ME7.5 ECUs. Connecting this ECU to a ME7.5 car will probably damage something on the car and/or ECU. |
Proteus

The rusEFI Proteus is a ECU designed by Matthew Kennedy and sold by rusEFI. This ECU has been sold with different case styles as and bare boards. It features three AMPSEAL connectors.
Some of the features are:
- 12 cylinder sequential injection and ignition
- 16 Low Side Drivers (for injection and others)
- 12 5V ignition (or general purpose) outputs
- 4 High Side Outputs
- 15 auxiliary inputs
- Dual drive by wire
There are two variants of the Proteus, the one with the STM32 F4 and F7. Only the F4 variant is currenty supported.
Internal name: proteus_f4
For more details, including pinouts, schematics and gerber files see Proteus.

microRusEFI (MRE)

This a small form factor ECU designed and sold by rusEFI. packaged into a compact ECU case featuring a Molex CMC connector.
Some of the features are:
- 4 cylinder sequential injection and ignition
- 6 additional Low Side Drivers
- 14 auxiliary inputs
- 2 High Side Outputs
- Drive by Wire
Internal name: mre_f4
For more details, including pinouts, schematics and gerber files see microRusEFI.

F407 Discovery and Frankenso
These are ECUs designed and previously sold by rusEFI.

This ECU features a STM32F4DISCOVERY hardware evaulation daughterboard and is considered legacy hardware and should be used only with experienced users.
It is strongly recommended to upgrade to a newer board. For more information, see Frankenso.
Boss Garage
These are the ECUs designed and manufactured by Boss Garage. They are based in Portugal.
